GEORGETOWN Creature SHELTER

Serving the Community for Over 30 Years

The Georgetown Brute Shelter is an open-intake municipal fauna shelter for the City of Georgetown. The shelter is responsible for all animals institute inside the city limits of Georgetown or surrendered by city residents.

The shelter strives to render lost animals to their owners or detect new homes for them. The support of our amazing community and defended volunteers has helped the shelter achieve a Live Release Rate of better than 90% since fiscal year 2015. Quite an accomplishment for a city shelter and ane which would not be possible without dedicated volunteers and community support.

FRIENDS OF THE GEORGETOWN ANIMAL SHELTER

Friends of the Georgetown Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(iii) nonprofit that was formed in 2010 by a group of volunteers who are passionate about enhancing the lives of shelter animals.  We do this by supporting the shelter's mission through fundraising events, memberships and volunteering.
