Does A 2006 Scion Tc Have A Cabin Air Filter
so i stopped by the dealer today to get 1 of my maintenances washed, and they told me i did not have a motel air filter. i had noticed this earlier during an oil change and was gonna say something to the dealership when i went in for a maintenance but forgot. anyways, the dude tells me its about $61, which isnt terrible, plus they want to charge me to install the damn affair when theyre already all up in there. then i tell him that i forgot to mention that the dealership never gave me one. he said some of them have it and some dont.

he said it was an option. i practise not call back information technology existence an option, and i kind of think this is a bunch of b.southward. granted this was my offset new machine, but how can it not come with an air filter? am i bein hosed hither? i tin can buy one and put it in myself, but dammit should i not go i for having spend virtually 20k on the damn thing?

i recall its more the principle behind it. i salvage upward 3 years to buy this car, and it doesnt even include something that basic that (im bold) information technology should come with? i should not have to purchase/make/install my own. i appreciate your help with the link. i think im just mad cause i think they are BSing me pretty blatantly and i dont appreciate it.

that sounds kinda weird. i thought all cars came with a cabin air filter.

it cleans the air that comes in through the Air conditioning when you lot dont have it on circulte. takes care of all the pollen and junk in the air so it doesnt enter the auto.

This reminds me...so i just went out and changed mine. It's been similar 3 months already. Really easy to put in a in-cabin air filter.
our cars dont come with cabin filters. you can purchase one from the dealership or just by a household filter and cut information technology to fit. i ended upwards making 4 of them for $20. installation is cake and should take u mayb 5-10 minutes
yes, i asked nigh information technology before when i found the empty bin behind the glove box. it doesn't come with i, simply its not that big a deal. u didn't pay THAT much for the car. n a lot of cars at higher prices in the by didn't come up with them. it's not that big a deal. simply chill. either buy one or don't. i'm sure ur not dying from allergies in your car and if someone told u that u had one then u wouldn't pay any mind to information technology. later on all, when did scion e'er advertise their cars every bit having cabin filters as standard?
wow thats retarded. i never knew any cars didnt come up with an airfilter stock. it cost them side by side to cypher to produce. i cant imagine why they wouldnt simply throw i in
I guess Toyota saved a few thousands because virtually people don't even know or care...remember...most people are ignorant and just purchase a tC because they can. Unlike us tuners, we care what we drive.
